Cranston is one of Calgary’s largest south-east communities nestled on a ridge, where residents can enjoy views of the Bow River Valley and the Rockies. The community is boarded by Stoney Trail to the north and Fish Creek Park and the Bow River to the west and south. To the east is Deerfoot Trail and the community of Auburn Bay . The facility offers fitness classes, private gymnasium, tennis courts, outdoor hockey and leisure skating rinks with a zamboni. The Hall hosts monthly events such as the Old Fashion Corn Boil, Stampede event, Halloween Spooktacular, Mother Daughter Tea Party and much more.
The community also enjoys over 15 parks including access to Fish Creek park and the Bow River.
Riverstone is a newer addition to the community and is located along the shore line of the Bow River.
